Krungthai-AXA Life Insurance (KTAXA) recently launched the fourth season of its award-winning ‘Know You Can’ Football Youth (U15) Academy’. The program complements the AXA Group’s official partnership with Liverpool Football Club and aims to promote health and fitness, raise the level of Thai youth football to an international standard and increase brand awareness.
Due to outstanding success of the previous three seasons, KTAXA will again host the fourth season in four provinces, including Chiang Mai, Khon Khaen, Krabi and Bangkok. This year, the academy hopes to attract over 2,100 youths for the try outs, which will comprise 1600 children from the four Thai provinces and 500 youths selected from customers’ children - new customers who purchase a policy between November 2023 – February 2024 will also be eligible to join the program. Customers will be requested to send a short football skills clip to the KTAXA CR Team which will be forwarded to the official coaching team for their review.
Aligned with its core purpose, ‘to act for human progress by protecting what matters,’ fifty percent of all children selected for the try outs will be from underprivileged areas, to support and encourage children from all backgrounds to develop their skills.
The first try out will be held during November in Chiang Mai, where 400 football enthusiasts selected will attend. The remaining three try outs will take place before May 2024. From the 2,100 participants, a total of 10 talented youths (8 from the provinces and 2 children from KTAXA customers) will be selected to attend an LFC one-week training course at the LFC International Academy, Liverpool, United Kingdom during July 2024. This exclusive experience is only available due to AXA’s partnership with LFC and its long-standing commitment to the English Premier League legends.
