Krungthai-AXA Life Celebrates National Forest Conservation Day 2024

Krungthai-AXA Life Insurance(KTAXA) is proud to celebrate National Forest Conservation Day and join in the global efforts to protect and preserve our precious forests. As an organization committed to sustainability and environmental stewardship, we recognize the vital role that forests play in maintaining the health of our planet and the well-being of future generations.

Four years ago, on this day, Krungthai-AXA Life officially launched its Tree Planting Campaign at The Golden Jubilee Museum of Agriculture Office, Bangkok and made a commitment to plant 100,000 trees by the end of 2022. Today, that target has not only been achieved but surpassed and 110, 000 trees have been planted across all regions of the country.

Forests are not only a source of natural beauty but also serve as essential ecosystems, providing habitat for countless species, regulating the climate, and purifying the air we breathe. They are also a crucial resource for communities, offering sustainable livelihoods, recreational opportunities, and cultural significance.

“At KTAXA, we understand the importance of forests in mitigating emissions, that is why climate change and promoting biodiversity is now a core pillar in our sustainability strategy. As a key player in the financial sector, we are always striving to fortifying the environments where we work and live, whether it’s investing in community revitalization, supporting education, or helping people recover from the unexpected. Our commitment to National Forest Day reinforces this responsibility to creating stronger, safer and more resilient communities” commented Mrs. Sally O’Hara, CEO Krungthai-AXA Life Insurance.
