Historical index price levels and the Thai Baht to US Dollar exchange rate for every Monday, or the next business day in case Monday is a public holiday as officially announced.
1. Description
• This product employs a financial instrument called a call option as part of its risk-management and product development framework to ensure that policyholders receive returns that align with the movement of the index, based on the index-linked return calculation formula determined by the company as specified in this document. This calculation excludes any impact from exchange-rate fluctuations.

• The Citi Grandmaster RC 5 Index provides exposure to developed markets such as the United States, Europe, and Japan, aiming to enhance return potential while maintaining diversification. The index strategically allocates investments across equities, government bonds, corporate debt instruments, and commodities. The asset allocation is dynamically adjusted based on global market conditions to optimize returns while managing risk and volatility.
• Since the Citi Grandmaster RC 5 Index is denominated in U.S. dollars, the company will convert the index performance into Thai Baht based on the foreign exchange rate at the time of calculation. The exchange rate used is sourced from the Bank of Thailand website: https://www.bot.or.th/th/statistics/exchange-rate.html. The initial value of the reference index is converted using the USD selling rate. The final value of the reference index is converted using the USD buying rate.
• The company will invest in the reference index within 45 days from the life insurance policy issuance date. The final index valuation will be determined within 45 days before the policy maturity date.
• If the final valuation date falls on a non-business day as announced by the index provider, the valuation will be postponed to the next available business day or another date based on the terms of the underlying instrument.
• The returns based on the reference index generated from the Citi Grandmaster RC 5 Index are subject to the following risks:
1) Market Risk – The index value may fluctuate due to market conditions.
2) Foreign Exchange Risk – Since the index is denominated in U.S. dollars, it is exposed to currency fluctuations between the Thai Baht and U.S. dollar.
However, policyholders will still receive all guaranteed benefits, including policy payouts and maturity benefits, without exposure to market risk or foreign exchange risk as these payouts are not affected by index price volatility or currency fluctuations.
• In the event of the following circumstances occurring during the contract:
1) If the reference index calculator or the reference index provider Citi Grandmaster RC 5 Index cancels the calculation or preparation of the reference index, changes the details of the reference index (including the method of calculating the index level) in a manner that affects the benefits of the insured, or is unable to publish the index level for more than 15 consecutive business days in a row, or if an event occurs that impacts the related investment securities of the index as specified in the terms and conditions of the relevant investment securities or,
2) If an event occurs that affects the credibility or the solvency of the counterparty, the reference index provider, or the index calculator Citi Grandmaster RC 5 Index including breach of contract, default, debt restructuring, bankruptcy proceedings or other legal procedures related to bankruptcy laws, control of the entity, unlawful acts causing damage, actions taken by regulatory authorities, or legal actions or lawsuits or,
3) Any other event involving the counterparty, the reference index provider, or the index calculator Citi Grandmaster RC 5 Index that impacts the benefits of the insured, including force majeure events, legal changes that may affect the insured’s benefits, fraud or fraudulent conduct, or legal proceedings that could impact the insured’s benefits.
The company reserves the right to select a new index as a replacement when deemed appropriate. The new index will not significantly affect the benefits of the insured or alter the contractual parties, the reference index provider, or the index calculator. Yes, the "Global Savings Plus 25/5 with returns based on the reference index (Index-Linked)" product provides principal protection, subject to policy terms and conditions. If the insured survives throughout the policy term, the Company guarantees total survival benefit equal to 525% of sum assured, consisting of the annual cash coupon plus the maturity benefit. Therefore, the total survival benefit is generally higher than the total premiums paid, meaning the insured does not lose the principal and may also receive additional returns based on the reference index (If any).

The returns based on the reference index is based on performance of the Citi Grandmaster RC 5 Index, and therefore involves the following risks:
1) Market Risk – The index value may fluctuate due to market conditions.
2) Foreign Exchange Risk – Since the index is denominated in U.S. dollars, it is exposed to currency fluctuations between the Thai Baht and U.S. dollar.
