FAQs

1. How is the Worldclass Legacy 99/5 with returns based on the reference index different from a standard whole‑life insurance product?

Worldclass Saver 12/5 with returns based on the reference index  provides protection of the principal or the premiums paid by the policyholder. If the policyholder remains insured until the end of the policy’s coverage period, the Company guarantees total benefits throughout the contract equal to 510% of the sum assured, which consist of annual cashback payments combined with the maturity benefit. This guaranteed amount is greater than the total premiums paid, ensuring that the policyholder does not lose their principal. In addition, upon maturity, the policyholder also has the opportunity to receive additional index-linked returns based on the performance of the reference index.

2. Risks associated with returns based on the reference index calculated from the BNP Paribas Multi Asset Diversified 5 AF Index are as follows

1.Market Risk: The return is subject to fluctuations in the index level, which may vary depending on market conditions.

2.Currency Risk: Since the index is denominated in U.S. dollars, there is a risk arising from fluctuations in the exchange rate between the Thai Baht and the U.S. dollar.

Nevertheless, the policyholder will still receive the full maturity benefit as specified in the policy terms and conditions. The maturity benefit is not exposed to market risk or currency risk, as it is not affected by movements in the index level or exchange rate fluctuations.
